Mazda Axela Sport 1.5 S Style

Mazda is celebrating its 90th anniversary with the release of a special edition Mazda Axela Sport. The new special edition anniversary model, which is known as Mazda3 hatchback in overseas markets, offers attractive eco-friendly and safety features.

Boasting a set of performance accessories, the Mazda Axela Sport 1.5 S Style just went on sale at all Mazda, Mazda Anfini and Mazda Autozam dealerships in Japan. The model is priced from 1,760,000 to 1,850,000 yen ($19,500 - $20,500), all taxes included. The 1.5 S Style is based on the 1.5-liter Axela Sport. With its “green” features, the car meets the qualifications required to enter Japan’s eco-car incentive program.

The government gives its buyers 50% tax reductions under its tax reduction program. The car has new features consisting of 15- or 16-inch alloy wheels, side spoilers, LED rear combination lights and dark tinted glass (rear door and rear quarter panel windows, rear liftgate glass).

If you get the version with the 16-inch wheels, you’re also getting the following features: discharge headlights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and a 4.1-inch multi-information display. The car has a color liquid crystal screen that indicates information for the audio, climate control, trip computer and other systems.

Three months ago, Mazda had also commemorated its 90th anniversary with the launch of two new special editions in Japan – a Mazda Axela and a Mazda Biante – that are both equipped with i-stop. The Mazda Axela 90th Anniversary Special Edition in Gunmetal Blue Mica exterior body color is priced from 1,890,000 yen ($21,000) and can go up to as high as 2,140,000 yen ($23,800). The Mazda Biante i-stop Smart Edition is priced at 2,260,000 yen ($25,200).

New Alfa Romeo Giulietta

The New Alfa Romeo Giulietta will be arrived in Malaysia by the end of the year to accompany the 159.The New Alfa Romeo with Four turbo engines are available at launch – two turbo petrols (120 bhp 1.4TB and 170 bhp 1.4TB MultiAir) and two MultiJet turbodiesels (105 bhp 1.6 JTDM and 170 bhp 2.0 JTDM). All these powerplants come with a 6-speed manual gearbox, but a dual-clutch transmission will be coming soon as the automatic option – with this, we can finally bid farewell to Alfa’s frustrating Selespeed!

Alonso choose Maserati Grancabrio

Check this out Superb Alonso, Ferrari’s highest profile employee, two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso, has chosen a Maserati GranCabrio as his company car. The Scuderia’s race winner at the season opening Bahrain GP “collected” his new car at the Fiorano track. The fact that he picked Maserati’s big drop top over something from Ferrari’s road car range shows that the ex-Renault man prefers a relaxed driving experience off the track.
